The Facts

Hi, my name is Kasey. I am an artist and photographer, wife and soon-to-be mother; I am a feminist and activist, knowledge seeker and music lover. I love to cook and bake. I am a self-professed geek and growing increasingly nerdy as the years pass on. We attended our first gaming convention in August 2012 and it was one of the best four days I've ever had.

I love all things art related; I graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in 2012 and I am currently engaged in a graduate program with plans of receiving my Master's of Arts in 2015. I own a photography business as well as work part time for family. I love taking portraits and shooting weddings for others, but my real love is in the darkroom.

We are huge animal lovers in this household with a whopping three cats and two dogs, all of which were rescues except one (though we like to think we rescued him from his surroundings anyway). They are my life and I would do everything in my power to keep them safe and healthy.

I love to laugh and I am so grateful I married a man who never ceases to crack me up. We were married on Halloween 2010 in a fun-filled themed ceremony. I have my husband to thank for bringing me out of the nerd closet. We now wave the geek flag proudly!

We were expecting our first child, a son, in January 2013; however, he decided to arrive early on December 23, 2012. We just celebrated his first birthday and the emotions inside me are indescribable. We are so excited and honored to raise an intelligent, open-minded, and free-thinking individual who loves to be just as silly as we are.
